The
machine is used for continuous removal of
stones from a stream of granular material.
The gravity selector combines two distinct
functions with a single machine and uses
half the total air requirements of two separate
machine normally used to achieve the following
functions:It concentrates impurities and
removes stones from the grain stream.
The
product is gravity fed through an air shut-off
gate on to a preliminary separation perforated
screen, from where un- wanted substance
is separated. After preliminary cleaning,
grain passes on to an inclined oscillating
deck. This deck is designed as screen through
which an upward current of air is passed,
fluidizing product.
